YouTube Timestamp Link Generator

Point readers to the moment that supports your note. Add timestamps and labels to a YouTube video, then copy the links for a research document, lesson, or interview reference.

One per line, up to 30. Use seconds, mm:ss, or hh:mm:ss. Labels are optional.

Free, no sign-in. Links are built in your browser; generating them does not fetch the video or use AI credits.

How to link to a specific moment

  1. Paste the video URL or its 11-character ID.
  2. Add a time and, optionally, a short label on each line.
  3. Generate your links, check them on YouTube, then copy them into your notes.

What does a timestamp link do?

It adds a start time to a normal YouTube watch link. For example, t=90s requests playback at 1 minute 30 seconds. It does not create a clip or change the original video.

Does this generate chapters automatically?

No. You choose the moments and labels. This tool does not read captions, analyze a video, or create AI notes.

Can I use Shorts and live links?

You can paste a Shorts, live, share, or standard watch URL. We rebuild it as a watch link. Seeking may behave differently for Shorts, active livestreams, or unavailable videos, so check the result before sharing.
